Well...I had just started driving for a company that my (now) hubby had just quit working for. On my third run (it was a team driving run), I went out with his old partner, a lady old enough to be mom to both of us.
After talking to her for a little bit, she just decided that hubby and I would be a perfect match and orchestrated our talking on the phone. We talked almost constantly during the three days I was out on that run, and then he met us and went with us to deliver our backhaul when we got back home. Afterwards, we went out to breakfast together...I ended up not making it home until almost 5:00 am, the normal was about 1 or 2 am getting in from these runs. The next day was payday, and he was up there waiting when I came to get my check, so we went out to lunch together. We went out to the movies that night, and I think that is when I really knew that we were going to be together! :clap2: He left the next day to go to orientation for a new trucking company and a few days later I left on another run for my company, but by the time I got back, he had come back because the new company wasn't going to work out (too much time away from me
) and we ended up making our next run together as a team. Oh, btw, he had told me he loved me while I was gone on my run and he was sitting at his orientation. That crazy man told me he loved me when we had known each other less than a week! :funny::dance2: He must have meant it, though...cause we're still married today, and I know I love him more than I thought I did then.
Just something a little interesting to show how meant to be we are:
-We met on December 3. :dance2:
-We got married on June 3
-Our daughter was born on January 3 :baby: (Yes, we were bad before we got married.)
I think 3 is our lucky number!
