WOW - REALLY? I visited Casa Bontia almost 17 years ago on my honeymoon. A store manager of a place I used to work at during my college years recommended it when I visited with my family. THAT was probably 21 years ago . . I never made it until the honeymoon. The food was okay - no different than the local Mexican restaurant chains in Iowa (Chi-Chi's or Carlos O'Kelly's) but it was the atmosphere that we enjoyed. The different themed rooms to eat in and the shows the employees put on. Singing, dancing, gun fights, etc. We got to see the 'gun fight' which ended in the bad guy falling two stories (?) into the pool below. There was a cave to eat in...a house . . a small Mexican town, etc . .kinda like Disney I guess..you should try it and then let me know if it's still the same!! Wonder if they have a web site ? Should go check that out!
