Birth control pills=early abortion?
I'm sorry if this is a touchy subject for some...
I recently learned that birth control pills can stop a fertilized egg from attaching to the lining of the uterus, thus causing an "early abortion." I would be afraid of the possible side effects anyway, but now I definitely do not ever want to use "the pill" if an "early abortion" is a possibility, as I am strongly against abortion.
Since I plan on not having sex unless I get married and am only 19, maybe I shouldn't be worrying about this sort of thing just yet, but it really bothers me. I guess if I was married I would go with "natural family planning" although I don't know much about it at the moment. I think I've heard that if you take your temperature every day you can learn when you're ovulating, although I don't know if that's true.
I'm not sure where I'm going with this...Are there any methods of birth control I haven't heard about (besides "natural family planning") which do not cause "early abortions?" I'm also a little curious about how "natural family planning" works, but I would hate to ask personal questions about it...Just general information would be interesting...
