i hope i don't have to use the pill personally when/if i get married. i tried it for health reasons a few years back and it really would take a miracle to get me to ever go back on it because of the side effects. i've also heard of its potential abortifacient (i know i spelled it wrong) nature and am still slightly skeptical. the chances of an abortion are happening are very small as i understand it but i'm unsure myself if i wanna risk any possibility of accidentally aborting any child. i s'ppose there's always the trust factor to consider as well: do i trust God to be sovereign enough to watch over any child of mine even before i am aware i he/she exists?

NFP really depends on your convictions. You need to be completely aware of your cycles and monitoring that stuff very closely. There is of course always the risk of unexpected pregnancy esp if your cycles are irregular (at least thats how i understand it - someone more wise can feel free to correct me ). but if you're of the conviction that you don't want to use man made BC then NFP would be you only option if you're still interested in some form of BC.

there are of course other methods of birth control out there. the most obvious are condoms, depo-provera shots, diaphragm, IUDs. all of which you'd have to look into yourself to decide if they're for you and talk to your doctor about. Its would also be a good idea when you get to that point to talk over with your husband to be what form of birth control you'd both be comfortable with.
