I agree with the other ladies. This will be a decision for you and your husband, getting reliable information from your doctor. You will find that being spontaneous will be important in your marriage. I have been on the pill for much of my married life. It took a while after getting off of it to get pregnant. I went quite a while not using anything and trying other methods and I prefer the pill. (for so many reasons) But it is such a personal choice. I think there are risks associated with all choices. You have to decide which risks are worth it and you can live with. I have no family history to help me out since my mother and sister both had hysterectomies at early ages (due to health reasons). I believe, when taken as prescribed, the BCP simply prevents ovulation but I understand your concern of the abortion. Either way, I guess we are trying to control what ultimately God should be in control of. I have had three miscarriages, so I have never really been in control anyway.
