i, unfortantaly, have had to turn a guy down before and while we are still friends, good friends actually, that had more to do with the excuess i used and the fact that he ended up with a girlfriend a few months latter...the funny part is both of them are friends of mine, and i didn't know she was intrested in him when he asked me.
any way, my parents taught me that the only reason to date was to find your life mate, and unless you where ready to get married you didn't need to be dating. i still agree.
