1 Samuel 8: tells us that God allowed us a king (government), but that he didn't want us to be ruled by anyone, but him. He even warns them from verses 11-18 the terrible things the king would do to them and their families, which reminds me of Iraq and taxes! And also God says in closing " When that day comes, you will cry out for relief from the king you have chosen, and the Lord will not answer you in that day." Personally I think we need to look to God to lead us and take care of us, not men.
