It's a system I'm toying with a bit - it's called "vBExperience", and it levels out the rating by overall forum activity, which is everything from posting, to starting threads, to giving out reputation, to participating in groups and blogs and uploading photos to albums. I thought it was an interesting addition, sort of like a "sane" version of "blessings". It also gives out awards, although I think it does so arbitrarily.
So I have some playing to do still.
