My dad watched that for years on PBS but it stop showing it. We don't have cable tv so we haven't found it on regular *country cable* tv.

They've been redoing it with all new productions effects and stories. New Doctor ECT. Been quite enjoyable (Also they've got the first 1-2 seasons of the new version out on DVD now)
Though I've still got some of the older versions on VHS (Need to convert them to DVD) including the 5 Doctors adventure.

I am a huge Dr. Who fan. Always have been.
I was skeptical when the new show came out. I was worried that they were not going to keep true to the history, but, barring a few things I wish weren't there, they have been pretty faithful to the old show. The true test is that it is just tacky enough to be considered really Dr. Who. LOL.

Are you all talking about the BBC series? Season 3 just ended... that one? Or is there a separate American series?

No, that is the one we are talking about.
We in the US haven't gotten the 3rd season yet. And are waiting impatiently for it to start in September.
