Ok you and I have done all the same things both on and off the web, except I was not a Marine, but the wife of a soldier. Not a pianist either, but I do play guitar. Are you sure we're not related? :clap2:

I think I've outgrown all of the IRC stuff, because when I have gone back to visit, it's not the same... or perhaps I'm just too well behaved now. lol I bet there are a lot of folks here who used to do the IRC thing.

Most importantly:
I'm a Christ-loving Christian who, over the past year, has become so much closer to the Lord. Before that I had accepted Christ but I didn't really know Him one-on-one like now. I accepted Jesus when I was 5 1/2 years old, and then rededicated my life to Him in my early 20s. I am approaching my 31st birthday. I'm a widow, and a single mother to my beautiful Jeremiah.

I have been all the way up to an Admin on CF but have since demoted myself to supervisor, I got preggers with my youngest daughter and couldn't train as I should, top tired and sick.

I have two girls, Christian (3-16-05) and Mary (5-16-07), been married to my wonderful hubby for 3.5 years (11-29-03).

I'm 53 years old, and have been married 17 years to my wonderful wife, Linda. I married into "instant family" at that time, as Linda came into our marriage with 4 children, then aged 8-12. I thought I knew it was going to be a major adjustment. I knew nothing!


[B]But, God is good. We not only got through it, the kids all adults now, say that I did better as a stepdad than I think I did. I am humbled by their praise, and their love.

Linda and I are Grandparents now. That is one of the true joys of life!

I was, and am, called to the ministry. I have a B.A. in Theological and Historical Studies, and an M.Div. with a Pastoral Ministries emphasis, both from Oral Roberts University. I've served as a priest in the Evangelical Orthodox Church, and. since 2003, in the Communion of Convergence Churches; a sister church to the Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches.

The Convergence Movement...God's bringing the separated "streams" of the church, the Evangelical, Sacramental, and Charismatic, together again...is my heart, and the theme of my ministry.

Almost all of my ministry has been as a worker-priest. I'm presently the Site Manager over the Janitorial Program for a contract company at two Chrysler Plants.

Hey I'm SilentTraveler both here and on CF.

I'm currently a senior mod on Support Staff (just found out both of my admins quit on me ) I am a former PK (19 years), love praise and worship, currently serve as media technician at my church. The outdoors are my favorite place to be, especially with a good book in hand. I am 26 and single - wheeeeee.

I think I'll leave it at that for now.

Hi!

I am A New Dawn on CF, also was Jenda on CF (changed my name when I went on staff). I was the Prot. Theology Admin for about 5 months then joined the Support team as a super. I left staff a little over 2 months ago.

I was a mod on an LDS discussion board for about 2.5 years, but stopped when I became a mainstream Christian.

I posted as part of an LDS sister team with one of the other (male) members here on an all-woman LDS discussion board. It made for some interesting posting. LOL.

Anyway, hope to have some good times here.

(I had joined up long ago, when this board first opened, and hadn't been here in so long I forgot who I was. LOL. Had to go hunting around old threads to find out.)
