One of my good friends was an AM. She liked the job, but she said it was tough work. Tough hours, too. Because some nuts like their coffee at 10 at night...

it's usually tough because people are psycho and rude and mean.

FTR, I always make it a point to be very nice and polite to the baristas, even pre-coffee fix. I can only imagine the crap that you all have to put up with when someone's drink is 170 and not 180 like they ordered it. :sigh: I try to make up for whatever inconsiderations someone may have come across that day. But that's my retail rule in general.
