Well, we have decsided to "cave in" to shut her dad up about this subject. He has been riding her really hard about this as much as we would realy like to be able to do this, I just want this man off our case. He still can not give us ANY Biblical proof that it is unbiblical/stumbling block/ dishonoring for a husband and wife to share a dance togather. He even went as far as to ask her if I where to take her out to a fancy fancy place to eat and there was dancing being done there (show dancing, my thoughts where ballroom style) would she dance then? Her answer of course was Yes.
So needless to say He has been treating her like dirt the last few days, and have pretty much taken over controling EVERYTHING that happens, yet again. If he takes the guys out fishing again hours before my wedding like he did the last one I think I will flipout.
Please also just pray for me that I can keep my big mouth shut and my feet out it (my mouth that is) because if he starts to go after me and my supposed hangups, and thoughts on things, I realloy do not want to have to throw the issue of Golf being a stumbling block to others when they see men of the Church spending more time on the Golf course then with their wives. ( I would dare say that between 1/2-3/4 of the men in the church almost LIVE on the golf course, and its really sad because it is really starting to take an effect on my better half's mom).
I also do not understand how in the world a man who is supposed to be the sheppard of the flock of this church full time, has the time to coach two little league teams, play golf up to three times a week, still be the sheppard, lead the flock that has been entrusted to him, and prepare for his "sermons" like he should be doing. Needless to say he does not "sheppard" very well in my eye's, I do not think that he has EVER returned a phone call from either myself or my wife-to-be, instead he uses her parents (mom) to relay messages to us, as in when we had to have schedules changed for the so called marriage counciling sessions we had to have, which where a joke. Instead he would be playing golf or coaching.

The bright side is there is a light at the end of the tunnel just keep in mind when you're feeling overwhelmed with stress from all this nonsense that you have so much good stuff to look forward to in your new life with your bride
praying for you big bro

If I were close I would offer to come and pepper spray both the father and preacher. They really need it. There are an amazing number of people who seem to think that following God gives them an excuse to be |i am offensive, beware!!||i am offensive, beware!!||i am offensive, beware!!||i am offensive, beware!!||i am offensive, beware!!||i am offensive, beware!!||i am offensive, beware!!|es. I could go off on a real rant here, I do wish God would give me the use of a few lightening bolts.

Thanks Everyone for the encoragement.
We went throught the rehearsal tonight, and things where kind of shambles at first, but it started to come together, but her dad is still being difficult regarding the music. For some reason there are some in the church who think that no one should hold the microphone while they are singing. (makes no sence to me at all.)
I am doing ok, just can not believe that this day has finnaly come, and I really pray that I do not pass out/faint durring the wedding. I know that God has given me the peace that this is the thing He wants me to do, but I still get nervous infront of people.
Tonight the guys and myself went bowling after the rehearsal dinner while the girls went back to watch 27 dresses. I just got back to my room a few min ago, and hope that I get a good nights sleep.
Please just bathe us in prayer for our day.
Once again, thanks everyone
