Man, there are several. Betty Crocker and Marie Callendar both make crockpot meals that all you do is add water and go. Many of them I have had and they are very good, especially Betty Crocker.
But I mostly use mine for roasts. You want to get a fry pan real hot and sear all sides of your roast. Then put in crock pot, add potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, salt, pepper and about a cup of water. Turn pot on low and let it go for eight hours. This is something great to start just before you go to work, it will be done by the time you get home.
Also another tip is you don't have to buy those special crockpot bags ( which do make clean up a breeze), you can buy just regular roasting bags. You get an extra bag with less cost! I usually get the one that can fit a turkey. Good luck!
