If you're going to read them, please read them in the correct order: 1) The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, 2) Prince Caspian, 3)The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, 4) The Silver Chair, 5) The Horse and His Boy, 6) The Magician's Nephew, and 7) The Last Battle.

Now this makes sence to me and makes me wish that I had started out like this....
I read 1)the Maginian's nephew first, 2) The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe, 3)The Horse and His Boy, 4) Prince Caspian...( I still have to read the others as of yet)...but the order that you posted make WAY more sence.
/me thinks that he will have to fiish out the series in the order that you posted.

Yeah,I need to print what she said, before I start reading them to my granddaughter.
(She is just starting to read "chapter books" so it will be awhile before she is reading them on her own).

Tenor, I have read in the same order as you and also just finished Prince Caspian. I am still not able to figure out how the horse and his boy fit in? I don't read them like other books, in other words, I can actually put them down and do for a few months at a time. I was especially uninterested while reading that one so maybe that is my problem.

Yeah I do the same thing with these....and with other CS Lewis book....I think that its his writing style and how much detail that he goes into describing things....they are still really good, but I hope that the order comes into play better when I finish the series

I've read these books countless times.
I am adamant about reading them in the PUBLISHED order, starting with The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe and so on.
