Any Fundamentalists Around Here?

You know, I've run into a number of Messianics on the other forum who are certainly fundamentalists.

I think one of the primary bases of fundamentalism is sola scriptura. Not that tradition ist to be ignored or forgotten, of course. But that Scripture holds higher authority than tradition.

Anyway, what ever labels may be, I think you and I tend to agree on far more than we disagree on.

well according to your definition of fundamentalist that you have listed several posts back, i am indeed a fundie like you. i DO believe God's word is inerrent and should be our guide and manual for life. just as i believe Jesus lived, died on the cross for my sins, and rose again on the third day.

i too am like some of you that have gone to other places/forums and become incredibly dismayed by what i saw - especially in what were supposedly conservative forums. it is disgusting to me the yeast that has been allowed to permeate itself on that particular forum some of us are refugees of.

hopefully we are starting a new more cohesive trend here that is based on the Word and the Word of God alone; which every single fundie knows is all we need besides prayer!
