I'm a Southern Baptist and DARN PROUD OF IT!!! My Church isn't a "Tradional" church and is the fastist growing church in my area we also plant other churchs as we were a plant too in 1989 and now have over 3000 people attanding on anygiven weekend. YEA GOD!!! if you'd like to check it out or know anyone in any of the areas looking for a church. We'd like to have them www.crossroadsnewnan.org |

not sure i know why you say that but i'm not all that tickled with the churches around here at all. they seem stiff and they don't have a family like warmth to them that i think they should have. to me it's similar to walking into a hospital full of folks you don't know.

I'm not wanting to open a can of worms here but, I just was poking my nose around seeing what others were discussing and I happened to the Methodist
Thread while I can say I liked the fact that they seem to have some sort of a book for new Christians to read explaining the faith or at least what They belive. I feel there are many people (myself included in earlier years) that don't understand the beliefs of their church. But the question being asked FLOORED me. Maybe I'm a naive Southern Bumpkin but I can't belive that even in certian situations they OK abortion. In the Bible that I believe killing is killing. And The pain in which a woman suffers after an abortion can be something she may never get over. Not to say the loss of a child isn't hard too but as a Christian I much prefer it to be Gods will than my own. He knows his plan for my life not me.
