InsaneintheBrain,
The idea of a messianic thread isn't such a bad idea, especially if it was set up to answer questions from other members. I have had the privilege of introducing Jewish friends to their Messiah. It is such a tremendous blessing. One of the few items that I have that I really cherish is a New Testament that is designed to witness to Jewish people with New Testament verses quoted from the Tanakh. It was given to me from a young Jewish woman that I had the privilege of leading to the Lord.
Despite the relationships that I have had with Messianic Christians I still have a lot of questions that I would love to have a resource whose brain I could pick. At the rate that CCf is growing with people jumping ship from ForU.ms it won't be just a few of you in a short time. BTW, where in Colorado are you from? As you can see I'm from the Metro Denver area.

I have been keeping the Sabbath and at least some of the holidays for a few years now and have found it to be a great blessing. Sukkot is coming this week, but how do you celebrate it if you have no place to build a sukkah?

Gordon Brown unjustifiably used the anti-terrorism act against the people of Iceland, for his own short-term political gain. This has turned a grave situation into a national disaster, affecting families in both Iceland and the United Kingdom. Help us avert greater damage by signing this petition now.

I and others go out to the church campground and spend the night, we hold a service out there as well. The day is set aside as holy and no activities other than religious are allowed.

I would love to learn more.
I had a friend who was JEwish - he had strayed and on the wrong path - I told him I would go to church with him if he would go back to church (which was Messianic) - went to church with him several times - I loved it - I worked with him - he was a young guy and in the alternative life style. It was not long after this that I learned he had died of aids.
I was thankful for the opportunity to have gone to church with him. I loved the worship and would love to learn more of what the meanings of everything is.
