i just graduated in may with a degree in history. yup yup, i'm a historian all the way. far too interested in the subject.

I'm a random BA student. I'm about to finish my first year in Theology (doing it part-time spread over 2 years) then transferring into Education in the UK, probably, to teach Primary (Elementary) school.

Hey, another grad student!

I'm a PhD student in physics, but I'm way behind you. I just started my first year this summer, so I'll be here for quite awhile. So when you finish your dissertation, do you have to give a public defense like we do in the natural sciences?

Anyway, the classes I'm taking this fall are:

Advanced Electricity and Magnetism
Quantum Physics I
Mathematical Methods for the Physical Sciences

I'm also taking two joke classes which basically constitute nap time:

Oral Communication Skills (aka "how to be a physics TA")
Research Seminar

I'll also be TAing a class, most likely physics for scientists and engineers.

I envy you, in that I find that sort of physics stuff highly interesting.

I am absolutely glad I'm not you, in that I never liked taking tests on it.
