I am vegetarian, vegan actually. It's really easy!
Animal products are what make you fat. Imagine if you cut eggs and dairy (no more cake, no more pastries, no more chocolate bars, no more fast food). Besides that meat (protein in general) is bad for you (especially milk) in excess:

Actually, anything in excess is bad for you. Think about it, what goes in must come out. I admit I pig out once in a while on nuts especially but eating too much really funks up your energy levels. Fasting is good for your soul and I usually do it at every change of the season as a body cleanser and a spiritual renewal.
But seriously, eating at fast food restaurants isn't cool; it's terrible! You're supporting an obese america. Not only that 80% of all animal factories are controlled by the same 8 companies that supply almost all of the meat in the world. This means 80% of all meat is raised in factory farms. Especially pork (remember the bacon you had on your burger?) because they're small enough to be grown in animal factory's like chicken but big enough to give big money. It's sick because they're very smart and have depth to their emotional capacity (I think all living things have a spirit though).
I am not a yuppie; and I think that every one has the same responsibilities and that it goes beyond a definition and an excuse.
