Got a call back from the TSA

I had about given up on hearing back from the TSA. I really figured my credit history or something had kept me from being hired. However this week I got a call back from the TSA that I need to schedule an appointment for the medical exam and drug screen. This is the last step before being hired.

Now I am not convinced the job is great, but it pays good and since it starts out part time I should be able to work both jobs. This will really let me get some debt paid off and will help me with getting the house I mentioned in the prayer request.

Another positive is that it would be a possible entry point if I decide to go for the Federal Air Marshal job in the future.

This is a big praise from a financial standpoint, a career standpoint, and as an answered prayer. Because I prayed to God that if the job would not lead to a specific thing(kinda too personal to reveal) that I not get the job.

The only real downside is that I may not get much sleep. But I can endure that for awhile.

I was finally able to schedule an appointment for next friday afternoon. It took several calls to be able to get ahold of a human being who could set the appointment, but I am one step closer to getting this job.

I hate talking with machines, a human is so much faster and efficient. Why can't we figure this out? Some jobs cannot be replaced by machines.

I don't know how many times I got their voice mail. And the first time I got ahold of a human being, they could not help me set the appointment because the clinic had closed already. See you had to call the TSA number and they put you on hold to confirm with the clinic the appointment time. It is just part of dealing with the government and I guess part of God timing/will for when things should happen.
