The Lord provides
I come to you people to share with you what God does for me:
As I mentioned in the prayer requests forum under the thread "I need a prayer or 16" I have been struggling financially because of a change of jobs. I work on commission for the most part. And I believe God wants me to share my experience with you, so I will.
I used to be a welder/fabricator when I first joined these forums. I would make good money... there would be plenty of over time in the company and I would bring enough money home to cover the bills and a little bit more. I could afford to be lazy and not cook but go eat out. Due to some stress in my job with management I decided not to continue working there.
I had worked in this department for 18 months and was always told that my quality and timing were superb so I got raises out of the blue, without me asking for them... However one day a younger man than I who is the son of one of the team leaders in the company whom works directly with my supervisor, joined the department and I trained him... eventually my supervisor decided to promote him to a position I had been longing for after just being three months in the department. That completely angered and disappointed me, it disheartened me and I confronted my supervisor about the situation. He made nothing but stupid excuses and brought the dirtiest dirt on me he could to justify his putrid actions.
So I pledged myself I would no longer be the slave of any job, mainly I kept in jobs because of insurance benefits, which are a must. So a restaurant was being built right next to my factory and I decided to apply just for the fun of it. Turns out the hired me on the spot and I started working at both places for about two or three weeks. After this period of time I decided that I was happy dealing with people and food rather than irrational management. So I quit my job and after disagreements I presented myself in front of those who I had told terrible things and put my personal feelings aside by telling them: "-I make my peace with you gents, I am no fit to work here any longer" and I left that day.
I kept praying that God would provide for me and since then he has done so. This last week I became ambitious and decided to apply in a greater restaurant, Irish one mind you LOL, where the staff makes almost double the money. I had gone without a week making money, just taking written tests for admission in my new job and learning everything there is to my job and more. I went to work for the last two nights to my old restaurant and made enough money to pay for a bill that was due today...not a penny more not a cent less. I made tonight as much money as I need to cover bills that are due this next week...
Need I say more? Clearly the hand of God is in all of this my brothers and sisters.
When I left my job as a welder I told my wife... -God will take care of me, and she is amazed to see how what I told her has become so true.
Now I am a happier person making money on something I enjoy doing, and enough money to cover the expenses my family needs.
I worry not, God is here for me.
So I thank you father, for taking care of me on a daily basis and knowing what my needs are and meeting them.
