New/updated rule to tell you about!
Rule number three has been updated:
Quote:
Rule 3: No proselytizing non-Christian religions, or doctrinal positions which contradict the stated acceptable doctrinal positions in the doctrinal statements mentioned above.
(3.1) Catholic/Protestant debates, which typically result in polemic attacks, and attempting to proselytize one another, is not permitted on this site. Threads assessing either theology are still allowed for theological and apologetic reasons, but if it is found to cause too much strife or division among the forum membership, a thread on this topic may be locked or deleted, per the regard of a consensus by the moderating staff, and temporary cessation of discussion may be implemented by staff to clear the air if such is found to be necessary for the health of the forum as a whole.
(3.2) Proselytizing of Universalism is to be banned, and the discussion of Universalism will be placed under the scrutiny of staff; it will be allowed for apologetic and theological inquiries into the nature of said doctrinal position, but will not be permitted to be promoted. Insomuch as it causes too much strife or division among the forum membership, a thread on this topic may be locked or deleted, per the regard of a consensus by the moderating staff, and temporary cessation of discussion may be implemented by staff to clear the air if such is found to be necessary for the health of the forum as a whole.

This rule was added to help soften the brunt of argumentation going on in the Theology forums. I believe it covers all the eventualities without being unfair to any prospective side, as both sides will be held accountable for their behavior.

Sounds good, but someone will try to find a loophole.
