hey guys i was just wondering what all you guys thought of Guitar hero. i don't have the game but i'm considering buying it because it looks like fun. but i don't want to waste my money on it if its not good, you know? so lets hear it.....

btw. i'm a guitar player so basicly thats why i want to get the game. lol

I am a guitarist too and I think it's interesting and fun, but I don't have the game. Not sure how good the songs are because I don't listen to most of the music they provide.

I have guitar hero II and III for xbox 360 and have played the 80's version on playstation 2 . If your online you can download new songs....

I'm hooked!

I have all the games except for the newest one. I like playing Guitar Hero, it's a lot of fun. When I go to church camp and sometimes hang out with friends they want me to bring it. The program plays whole songs and you can go from easy to expert.

I LOVE Guitar Hero!!

I have GHII for Xbox 360, it's a lot of fun

My favorite songs to play are "Sweet Child O' Mine" and "Carry On My Wayward Son"

The songs are actually not performed by the original artists, they are cover versions made by people hired by the game developers. But the covers are decent and do sound pretty similar to the original song. In GHII there are 2 songs which are by the original artists ("Dead" and "Possum Kingdom" IIRC?).

Geetar hero!!!! YUS. I love that game. I was kinda skeptical at first, seeing as popularity usually picks things that suck, but, this is one thing it got right!! Guitar Hero are awesome! Getit.

I've heard it can be hard for people who already play the guitar, but I don't know the basis of that. It's hard for me anyways! I need practice

I love rock band though. The drums are my favorite.
