Neither, both. It was the games' online connection setup that was buggy. I've only played the PC versions (both 1 and 2, and the expansion) and they were basically all fine single player (and seemed ok on LAN, what little we did). But the online experience was the part that was horribly buggy. Lots of trouble getting players to connect, lots of disconnects/"out of syncs" mid game. Ugh, just a general pain in the ****. The game was great when it ran, but playing online was almost a crapshoot. I haven't played for several months now, maybe it's better? (I doubt this).

Anyways, since it's a problem with online multiplayer it could very well be an issue for the console version as well (I'd imagine it is, though I couldn't say for sure).

These were still fun games despite this though.

Oh,Ok,that wouldn't be an issue then,because I don't play online.,and neither does my son-in-law,and my daughter had considered getting this title for him,but had heard something about it being buggy.Thank you for sharing that info.
