There was never a time that I don't remember knowing God's love and care.... He has always been my "Abba," my Daddy.
OF COURSE, that relationship has grown and deepened hugely over the years - as I pray it always does - but in my case, it's been a lifelong gradual development, not a singular event I can point to.
My parents have a video tape of me talking at a VBS (Vacation Bible School) closing event. I was probably 5. The odd thing is I actualy don't remember that (or that year's VBS) at all, but I've seen that video tape often.
It's an odd experience watching it. There I am, a cute little blonde boy, amazingly open and quite a little speaker! In white shorts and a VBS t-shirt. And taking about Jesus. It blows me away listening to that kid. It blows me away how much that little boy knew Jesus and loved him, how real that relationship was. As I got older, my head got seriously in the way and complicated things a lot, but there I am. That animated kid in the white shorts, talking about Jesus....
I could speak of how my faith has deepened, matured and changed - but I'm not sure that's a "testimony"
And at my previous website, I have like 3 pages of posts about what I believe and stuff in the "testimony forum" but I'm not sure that's actually "testimony."
Thanks!

Pax!
