Some advice offered

I guess I could post this in devotionals, but it is not really a devotional but a spiritual exercise or two. I will post more later. One thing we are told to do is pray for our enemies and those who persecute us. If you struggle with this issue I have an exercise designed to help you gain a better capacity to do so.

Think of one celebrity you absolutely loathe. Say it is somebody like Paris Hilton. Pray for her everyday. Pray for God's guidance and His blessings and His grace to be upon her. You will find this will soften your heart. And it will make it easier to pray for people in your life who could be considered your enemies. You will find it will help expand your capacity to love as Jesus did. He went to the cross praying for those hammering the nails into His flesh. So please give this exercise a trial run of just 24 days.

thats some good advice, even celebrities need prayer. After all they are just people like us with the same struggles, same sins, etc... as us and the same need for a Saviour and divine intervention as the rest of us.

Yeah. Sometimes I pity celebrities, because the bad stuff they do, other people do a lot. It's just that it's way more publicized when it happens to a celebrity than when it happens to an ordinary person.
