"ok, thankyou!" Alanna said and smiled. She made her way over to the girl called Chaya.
"Excuse me, but do you know where we're going, or if anyone would mind another addition to the group? And if you don't, could you recommend someone who would know?" Alanna asked. She hoped this Chaya was as nice as Angel.

Chaya turned towards the new girl who approached her, "No." She said gently, "I don't mind. And judging by how many people there already are in the group, I doubt anybody else would."

"And honestly," Chay continued, "I have no idea where we are, let alone where we're going. I haven't seen the light of day in four years. But, we're headed away from here, that's for sure. I'm pretty sure I can speak for all of us when I say we want to get away from prying eyes."

"We're in a small town just outside of Vancouver, BC." Dr. Carlyle chimed in.

"We're in Canada?" Chaya asked.

"That's right."

"Wow... I'm far from home." Chay replied absentmindedly, "So... where are we headed now?"

"Well, first we'll see about getting you all to safety." Hannah replied, "There's sure to be some kind of abandoned building around here somewhere that will act as a temporary shelter. Then, we can worry about the situation with Ryder, and I'm going to try to get you all in contact with your families, at least. But, I'm desperately going to try and get you all home."

"What?" Chaya responded in disbelief, "You would do that?"

"It's the least I can do. You all deserve it after all we've put you through."

She heard a quiet snicker emit from Ryder's mouth, but she immediately ignored it. He was different after he'd gotten rich and famous. Hannah was the only one who seemed to notice. She'd since lost all respect for the man.

"Ok Chaya, we've got them all paired up and headed out. Any direction in particualar you want us all headed so I can send the flyers on to scout?" Kyle's ears kept flickering back and forth with each sound as he spoke, Kayla, who was at his side, seemed to be having a similar problem.

Hannah spoke in Chaya's place, "Send them northwest of here. That leads to the abandoned area of town. There's bound to be some kind of warehouse there that we could use as shelter."

Chaya looked at Kyle, "Should I go with them? I can help them search for shelter."

"Hey, I hate to be a party pooper," said Shadow, going over towards Chaya and the group, a string of shadow following her, "but if we don't want to get caught, we need to get moving. Those police are coming rather quickly. I can freeze them if you want, but in my opinion, that wouldn't improve their view of us at all."
