She couldn't believe it! Alex was actually asking her out!

Angel heard Dana knock on his door and call to him. "Just a minute, DJ, I'll be right there!" he called back to her. Angel finished setting up Sky's platform, then took the jesses and tied Sky to the platform so DJ wouldn't be attacked. He then went to the door. "Hey, DJ!" Angel said, "Come on in, I just have to finished up some things so Sky, my hawk, can stay in here. Be careful when you go near him, he can be a bit touchy around strangers," As he was talking to her, Angel was walking around the room, picking up a couple of dishes and putting them by the stand, then putting food and water in them. Finally, he came back to Sky. "Alright, are we ready to go, then?" asked Angel, "Where are Jackie and Alex? Did Alex ask her out yet?"

"I don't know." Dana said, as she entered to room. "I certainly hope so. That's why I came to get you, and not him."

Woah.

It took him a moment to reply, but when he did, he was smiling. "Awesome. How's this weekend sound?"

"Ah, I see," Angel said, smiling, "Well, should we go see how much progress he has made?"

"This weekend sounds fine to me," Jackie said, still smiling and looking in the general direction of his face.

"Sounds good." Dana said, turning to leave the room, and head down to the training room where AJ and Jackie were still sitting.

Angel followed Dana to the training room. "Hey, did we say we were going to meet in the training room?" he asked as he noticed they were going a different way than he had expected.

Dana nodded, smiling, "I'm going the long way. Give him some more time, if he hasn't already asked her out."

"Sound good to me," Angel said, smiling. He followed Dana through halls, then stopped in front of a door when she did. "Is this the training room?" he asked.

(( No. You didn't do anything major. It's only really serious if you'd done something major with her actions. Doing what she was going to do anyway, doesn't really make a difference. ))

"It is," DJ replied, opening the door, to lay eyes on Jackie and her brother sitting in the room. AJ turned to face her with a smile.

"She and I are going to a movie this weekend." He said telepathically.

DJ smiled, "It's about time."

"Well," Dana said, "what do you say we get this show on the road?"

"Okay, just let me show Angel real quick" Jackie said.
"Show me what?" Angel asked, looking at Alex and Dana, then at Jackie
Jackie waited until Dana had closed the door, then said, "I can shape-shift into more than just animals," she then proceeded to shift into a unicorn, pegasus, centaur, and for her last one she did a dragon. Her dragon form was her favorite. She was red, her favorite color, and she was long, graceful. She could breathe fire, fly, and she could tell whether something like valuable metals or jewels were fake or real.
"Ok, let's go now," Jackie said after she turned into a human
"Wow." Angel said, "That was pretty much awesome!" He walked over and stood next to Alex, "So, you finally ask her out, or what?" he murmured.

Alex looked at Angel quizzically. "Was it that obvious?" he replied.

"And yes." He continued, no longer uncomfortable to be in Jackie's presence, or to talk about his attraction to her, "We're going to a movie this weekend."
