Jackie heard the knock and quickly got up and walked to the door, smoothing her hair and clothes on the way. She opened the door and changed her eyes to cat eyes. Man, Alex sure is cute, she thought. She smiled up at him, then turned back for a minute. "Oh, I almost forgot my sunglasses!" She said, turning and going back into her room, "You can come in for a minute, if you want to," she said. "Oh, and did you want me to bring Rosie? I can if you want me to, but I don't mind eithr way," she said, going to her dresser and rummaging on and in it. She pulled her sunglasses out of her top drawer and turned to face Alex. "I'm ready," she said.

Alex looked up as Jackie answered the door, and he returned her smile, "Hi."

He stepped inside after her welcome, and stooped to pet her dog, when she asked if she should bring her. "You could. I don't have a problem with it, but the people at the theater might. Adding to that, the fact that they would probably be wondering why someone with a seeing-eye dog, who appeared to be blind, would be going to a movie theater." He said with a wry smile.

"Well, I guess I won't take her, then." Jackie said, smiling. "I'm all ready to go,"

Alex nodded, and pulled himself back to his feet with a smile, "Do you want me to guide you?"

The question made him feel awkward, but if she could manage on her own, and didn't want his help, he wasn't going to argue. She deserved her independence, and the last thing he wanted to do was make her feel like she depended on him, or anyone else to guide her, if she didn't.

"Sure," Jackie said, trying not to act to nervous, "That way I don't fall on my face if I trip on a crack,"
"So, what movie are we going to go see?" Jackie asked as they walked out of her room and down the hall.

Alex laughed, gently taking her arm in his, "I'll be sure not to let that happen."

"I'm not sure. I think The Dark Knight is still in theaters. Or we could see a comedy. It's up to you. I've never really been picky when I see movies." He replied, "Unless, of course, it's a chick-flick." He smiled wryly.

"I would love to see the Dark Knight! I haven't seen it yet...I'm really excited for it!" Jackie said as they walked outside. "Is it good, or have you not seen it yet, either?"

"No, I haven't seen it yet," AJ replied, "but I've heard only good things about it. I always expected it to be great, because Batman Begins was."

"Yeah," Jackie said, "I really enjoyed that movie. I think I liked the part when the girl found out that Bruce Wayne was Batman!" They walked down the road to the theater.
