Singing Elk's grandmother is supposedly in the king's palace as a trophy. She would be headed in that general direction. So if Daynael and Miri go to assassinate the king, Singing Elk might go along to try and retrieve the mount to give it a proper burial. Only discovers Grandma isn't in the trophy room.

I got it, Daynael and Miri are on a quest to find out more about the stone around Daynael's neck, who was it you said in the RPG knows about stones, whoever it is can show Daynael about it and go with him and Miri. Oh, and the asignia on the stone, how about it being royal and turns out it belongs to the king and someone in the group points that out when Daynael and Miri decided to go their seperate ways and shows them why, Daynael had never thought much about the stone until that realy vivd dream, in fact in the dream he saw the mans face for the first time, he never drempt of the mans face and the man was in fact the king but he do'nt know what the king looks like, how does that sound

ok ppl's maybe we should discuss it via our characters round the campfire tonight? In that interest, shall we fix up anything we need to do at the cottage - buy a horse, small amount of food (Logan's depleted Dorrey's cupboards remember), and then travel off.

Basically, I think it would be best to split S-T into 3 sub-quests with at most 5 characters in one quest. If any thread does not have one of: Vancile, Rynn, Kirret, or Syl, then we as GMs may need to intervene to keep the story focussed, but we'll try to do that as little as possible. Any radical ideas please discuss here first.

Eliminating the King at this point is not a wise idea - we don't know who will replace him... so please, no killing of the king (yet).

lol like the yet you added in there. i want my two, Meldoy encluded, to head toward the pass, sense that's where they where heading to begin with. they've got a mission they have to complet up there, what it is i don't yet know, but it's got something to do with their past, and don't bother asking about that cause i'm not telling!
