so my brain has been dead the past few days and I havn't been able to come up with anyone, so for now I'll use this guy, but it may change before I start posting.

Name: Josh
Mutant name: Dread
Age: 20
Height: 6’ 4”
Weight: 160

Appearance: Muscular, dark red skin, black dreadlocks, demonic looking wings matching his hair color. Wears a ripped t-shirt, and ripped pants. Never wears shoes. Bright yellow eyes, with no pupil, or anything, just a yellow glow.

Powers: Ability to control what he calls “blackfire” which is a substance that moves in a chain like lightning, is just slightly hotter then fire, and has a dark red color in the middle with a black outline. Also can fly with his wings.

Bio: Never knew his mother or father. Supposedly they both died when he was very young. Spent his early childhood with his brother who was also a mutant, and four years older then him. They were forced to live on the street. Learned to steal at a young age, as it was needed for he and his brother to survive. Him and his brother were constantly attacked because both of their appearances made it very obvious they were mutants, and because of this Dread had his first killing at the age of six. At the age of 10, Dread and his brother got into an argument, and began fighting, resulting in Dread killing his brother. Dread continued living on the streets, hardly even phased at the fact that he had murdered his own brother. As time went by, Dread continued to kill, until it was almost as though it was a form of relief.

Personality: Psychotic, no sense of right or wrong. Wild, almost more of an animal now rather then a person.

Mutant name" Lumber Jack

Power: Control of the growth and behavior of all plants and able to grow any plant at will

Appearance: Muscular, like mister universe muscular, 5'10" short brown hair 250 pounds, per muscul

Bio: Accidently got implanted with mutant plant DNA while working as a janator at a facility that did experiments on plants and they were trying to create a human plant life form, this life form would live almost forever, be able to regenorate limbs and grow to what ever size he or she wanted too. It was the DNA for this experiement that was implanted into Jack by mistake as he was taken out the trash, a hypodermic needle was improperal disposed of in the trash can and contained the DNA and when he picked up the needle poked him and had a reaction to him that no one expected would happen giving not only those abilties but the ability to grow other plants as well. Jack is now 18 and has lived at Xavier's since the accident when was 16.
(I also control the character Professor Xavier, he dont need a bio you all know who he is)

I like the idea Pillsbury, simple and straight forward, yet it could get interestinng real fast. Btw I'm probably going to end up changing my character. All I need to do is think up a new one :think:

Bah! Sorry guys, I've been running about here and there trying to settle into our new house and TOTALLY forgot to check up on this thread!! Please forgive!

Name: Emily Johnson
Nickname: Emi
Mutant Name: to be determined...
Age: 20 and 1/2
Height: 5'8"
Weight: 140
Build: Athletic, but more on the skinny side.

Appearance: At first glance, she seems to be nothing special. She doesn't appear to be physically strong, but she's taken martial arts for 8 years, and is a 5th level black belt in taekwondo. She has long chestnut-colored hair that goes about halfway down her back, and big dark brown eyes. She's not exceptionally beautiful, but she's been called pretty by quite a few people...even though she rarely believes anyone.

Power: Telekinesis (rather strong to where she can even make invisible 'force fields'), a little telepathy (usually when touching someone), psychometry (can extract memories from an object), she sometimes has visions of things that will probablyhappen.

Bio: She was raised by her mother, who was a nurse and had to work 12 hour shifts in order to support them, as she was a single parent. She never knew her father, and actually knows nothing about him. She's asked her mom time and time again to tell her about her father, but she won't tell her a single thing, except that his name was Richard Johnson. Her mother's last name is Cameron, but she has her father's name. She has no memory of her father, and has never seen a picture of him.

When she was 16, she got a job so that she could help support herself and her mother, and because of that her mother was able to get off work on weekends. When her mom had worked almost all the time, it had been easy for Emily to develop her powers without her mother knowing. Ever since she was little, her mother had told her that people with powers were just 'filthy mutants' and that Emily wasn't allowed to associate with them. Of course, she never suspected that her own daughter would be one.

When she was 18 years old, and on her way home from a movie with her mother, a drunk driver came swerving into their lane. Emily used her telekinesis to stop the car from hitting them head-on, but the strain of stopping such a large object knocked her unconscious. She awoke in the hospital two days later to find out from Dr. Xavier that her mother had abandoned her and refused to make any contact with her. Xavier invited her to join his 'institute' and she immediately accepted. Since then, Dr. Xavier has become a father figure to her and the closest to family she's ever had.

Personality: Because of spending her teenage years constantly fearing that someone would find out about her powers and shun her like she knew her mother would, Emily has trouble interacting with people her age. Even though she's not scared to use her powers around the other mutants, she still hasn't opened up to anyone but Dr. Xavier and has no friends. She's very withdrawn and quiet, and shows little emotion. However, she's very kind and selfless : her reason for wanting to develop her powers is purely so that she can help people. She loves animals, and can't stand to see anyone in pain.
