Question
Hey all 
I just wanted to pass this by you guys: would you all be okay if I start advertising for specific UY demographics? It'd mean you'd probably be getting more guest visitors looking for this kind of outlet for discussion and the forum might get a bit more active. I think that might be a good thing overall, but if ya'all don't want me to, I won't.

I mean tagging appropriate keywords and creating google text ads for Adwords, specifically crafted for UY. I do it for most of the other forums, but I wanted to ask if you'd all be okay with it before I start any campaigns for this one.

Go for it, The pratice is common and makes common sense. The place has been a mortuary as of late. maybe we will get members who are not Fraidy cats and will actually engage in discussion. :-)

C'mon guys, I know you have some thoughts here. 
Eastcoast: I think the problem isn't so much that members aren't joining and actively engaging in discussion, but the aren't finding an outlet they can "plug into". We get a lot of members signing up but not posting because there isn't enough activity in the forums to keep their attention. That's a problem I'm still trying to address.

It is ok with me because the purpose of the UY forum is to give support to those who need it. I think the group has become a little closed and needs some new life. I am aware that it will mean a greater commitment to those members (myself included) who havn't been as active lately.
