Do you live on campus or commute?

Do you live in campus housing or do you live somewhere else? How do you get to school if you live elsewhere? What year are you?

I'm off-campus, but it's only a fifteen-minute walk away. There's even a campus shuttle/public bus stop down the block, but I never use them to get to class.

Not being in a dorm would be worth an hour commute to me, if I had to! I hated it so much.

I'm living on campus. All freshman at my school have to. But my dorm is close to all my classes so I love it. no AC kind of sucks, but we have fans so it's all good.

No AC?! My gosh, I would die here if we didn't have that.

I commute. I live at home. It's only a 10 minute drive if there's traffic and I drive my car to get there.

That's exactly what I was thinking, that I would die without AC. Seriously. I am a dork and I carry this little battery powered fan around with me in my purse. It is too hot here in Florida.

I live off campus... I had bad experiences living on campus, and I also live in my college town full-time now... I don't go to my parents for breaks or anything... just for a few days every so often. I drive to campus... right now its about a 10 minute drive... it might increase my senior year when I move to another apartment. I am currently a junior, but I will be a senior at the end of this semester.

it really isn't that bad with the fans. and everyone said it should cool down outside in 2 weeks so hopefully that'll cool down the rooms too.

well I'm in Virginia so it's not as hot as Florida.

Yeah, I've had days when I should have had a fan with me. I'm from the south, so heat is well-known here as well. I would probably die too...or not move until fall.

Wow, only Virginia? It doesn't get hot enough there to need an AC?

some of the dorms have AC, but only the newer ones. and mine isn't one of the newer ones.
