Quiet!

Do you have to have a pretty quiet environment to study or can you study with music/tv/etc in the background?

I have to have quiet. I turn on the fan in my room to drown out noises from the rest of the house.

uhmmmm.. it varies for me. Sometimes I can study with background noise, other times I have to have it completely quiet. When I am doing math, I have to have something on in the background or else I will go mad.

usually i like music in the background.
It varies for me as well. If its a huge test I am studying for (midterm or final) i might study in silence.

I can study with noise, but I notice it is easier to study without so much noise.

If I'm not at home, I study with music to drown out other noises. If I'm at home, I have to do totally quiet but a fan or I get distracted.

It depends. If I'm reading, it doesn't matter. If I'm writing or working problems, then I need quiet.

Um...I just need no distractions. AKA no laptop and no phone. But I need music. Music and I are good friends. But I do get alot more done if its just me and my music.
