Proverbs 28:13
He who conceals his sins does not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them finds mercy.

We cannot conceal our sins from God so would this mean that we should confess our sins to other christians?

Hey Robert!

We can hide things from people , but not from God.
We can confess our sins to each other, but sometimes we should just confess them straight to God. We all don't NEED to know everything I/You have done, some things can be for witnessing or for sharing with someone at a critical time(counsel) in their lives.

It is better to go to God and repent(anytime, anywhere), and some people feel the need to "get-it-out"...that's ok. It's better than getting caught red handed.

Airing "dirty laundry" in public may cause shock. It would be better to apoligise to that person in private.
