Please bear these words in mind when posting in the forums. We hope to provide you with a friendly and enjoyable environment to grow in Christ, and to learn more about the Christian faith. With this in mind, we expect a certain level of respect and consideration on the boards. If you're here with the intent of causing needless dispute or controversy (for the sake of causing dispute or controversy), please find another outlet as this type of behavior will not be long tolerated on this site. Christ Centered Forums is also meant to be a family friendly place, and as such, we expect posters to treat subject matter as if a group of young children will possibly read what they post. This is not meant in such a way that topics should be dumbed down, but to say that inappropriate content will not be tolerated.
Rules and Governance
(Section I)
This is a Christian site, and though we by no means wish to make any statement regarding the salvation of any individual, we understand the necessity of clarifying a general position of acceptable doctrine. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask a moderator.
General Doctrinal Position
(Section II)
Statement 1: We are saved by Grace alone, through faith alone.
Sub 1) That is to say, we are saved by the free gift of Grace, alone, by means of faith in Christ's sacrifice on the Cross, which we believe to be sufficient to forgive sin and purify a believer.
Statement 2: We believe in One God, communicated through the scripture that we may know Him, comprised of three persons.
Sub 2) That is to say, we believe in One God; The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit. Three persons united in one Godhead, not three gods, but One God with three persons.
Statement 3: We believe that, in it's 66 books, the Bible is God's word, given to us to reveal who He is, and it is without error in all issues to which it speaks.
Sub 3) The official Orthodox / Catholic position on the number of books in the Bible is also accepted in terms of membership / posting allowance. This is meant to be a general condition and not a stiff restriction.
Rules Relevant to Posting
(Section III)
Rule 1: No Flaming
(1.1) Flaming is defined as seeking to cause offense, or to create hostility within the forums. This includes ad-hominem posting, insulting or ridiculing behavior, using loaded statements to bait other posters into flaming, discussion of moderator action, and accusations of rule violations.
(1.2) No racist comments of any shape or form will be tolerated on this site.
Rule 2: No Spamming.
(2.1) This includes unsolicited, obscene, or otherwise inappropriate advertisements or links. This rule is applicable to all parts of this site.
Rule 3: No proselytizing non-Christian religions, or doctrinal positions which contradict the stated acceptable doctrinal positions in the ToS.
Rule 4: No obscenity or vulgarity will be tolerated. This includes sexually explicit or overly suggestive content, and obscene language.
Rule 5: Staff reserves the right to remove or edit any post, thread, profile, or any link, image, and etc.. within any post, thread, or profile, at their sole discretion.
Rule 6: The Congregational forums (Denomination Specific Theological Discussion) are reserved for discussion amongst posters of each respective denomination, and are not meant to house inter-denominational discussions or debate.
(6.1): Political discussion is to be maintained solely within the political forums. Posts and threads which have a political nature must be restricted to either the politics or the news forums. Any such posts or threads submitted outside of the politics or news forums will be relocated to the most appropriate forum by staff.
Rule 7: Forum Specific Rules may be in place in certain forums, and are binding within their respective forums.
Rule 8: Staff is reserved the right to use their own discretion regarding the following topics, which have been deemed potentially controversial*;
8A) Drug use
8B) Sexuality
8C) Marriage
8D) Abortion
Rule 9: All cited material must be included with a link to the source.
(9.1) No more than 100f any given source may be quoted.
Rule 10: Creating new accounts to bypass a ban or suspension is not permitted.
Rule 11: Posting personal information on the open forums is not permitted due to privacy and spam concerns.
(11.1) This includes any information that can be used to personally identify a member.
Rule 12: All data, text, or any other information shared on this site ("content"), are the sole responsibility of the person posting said content. CCF is not liable for the content which is posted by users on this site.
Rule 13 : Staff is expected to use their best discretion when interpreting these rules.
(13.1) This means that staff is given the freedom to interpret these rules according to each specific situation, as the situation demands.
Final Concerns
(Section IV)
Staff members are also bound by these same rules, and as such are expected to be examples of appropriate conduct. This means staff members are also protected by these same rules; we should all treat one another with love and respect, despite any differences that we may have. By the general spirit expressed here, there will be no discussion of moderator actions permitted in the forums, and there will be no flaming of staff members. Staff are equally expected not to flame regular posters, or treat them in any way unbecoming of a person in Christian leadership. Also, we ask that, instead of replying to posts which contain rule violations, you report them, as this will make moderation a much easier task.
27 Where
is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law. 29 Or
is He the God of the Jews only?
Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also, 30 since
there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith. 31 Do we then make void the law through faith? Certainly not! On the contrary, we establish the law.

Are all apostles?
Are all prophets?
Are all teachers?
Are all workers of miracles? 30 Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? 31 But earnestly desire the best gifts. And yet I show you a more excellent way.(1 Corinthians 12:27-31)
